Food Bank Minutes

Y'all probably know that Deuteronomy 15:11 says, "For there will never cease to be poor in the land, therefore I command you,' you shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.' "

But did you realize that a few short verses back God had said that there would never be any poor in the land? -  if they would strictly obey His voice and do all that He commanded them. We all know how that works, don't we?

This speaks to me loudly about my questions: "Did they bring this upon themselves? Do they have a more expensive purse or cell phone than I do? Do they really deserve this?"

Thank God we never get what we deserve, we are dispensers of HIs grace, and we labor unto Him alone, who sees, knows, and has compassion on every heart involved, (mine first, please God).

Love in HIm,

Marla Mac
